Nothing Changes until you do
FORGIVE
I have found through experience, being able to forgive is probably the most powerful thing we can do in the pursuit of happiness. We all seem to get stuck blaming others when things dont go as we planned, or even worse blaming ourselves. Attaching blame is a waste of time and energy as it keeps us from moving forward with things we truly desire. It doesn’t matter how much another is at fault, and regardless of how much you continue to blame, it will not add any value or change you personally. All it will do is weigh you down and hold you back.
Finding a place in your heart to authentically forgive, releases you of the emotions that keep you stuck in resistance. What has happened in the past is out of your control and will not change, however finding fulfillment going forward is in your control, and it starts by being courageous enough to forgive.
I understand how simple this sounds, but in reality it is often difficult. It requires you to be willing to let go of making someone else wrong, and a desire for you to be happy rather than the need to be right. Happiness is a choice, and one of the easiest ways to get this feeling is to forgive others, as well as forgiving yourself.
