PROFILE - NICK WOOSTER

I have had the good fortune to attract many influential people into my life who have helped shape and guide my values and direction. I would like to pay homage to some of these people through this platform and I can’t think of a better person to start with than Nick Wooster.

I have known Nick for many years through his reputation and status as a style icon, but it has only been over the past twelve months that I have began to really know him personally. Its one of those mysteries in life trying to understand the phenomenon of a persons influence on you, and Nick has certainly had a remarkable effect on my life in such a short period of time.

This is a man with many talents, and a lot of experience in the fashion industry. The thing that impresses me most about Nick isn’t his obvious swagger, style and remarkable contribution to mens fashion, but its his humility and vulnerability. He has worked for and influenced some of the most powerful fashion establishments in the business (Ralph, Bartlett, Barneys, Neiman’s), but he is one of the most unaffected guys I know. Nick is a charming and caring guy who strives to make people feel comfortable and included, and takes nothing for granted. He has a passion and lust for life particularly when it comes to helping other people, sometimes to his detriment as he can never say no.

Nick is full of courage and has always done things his way. He has taught me the true value of being authentic, and being comfortable and confident with who you are. This is a man with a wealth of wisdom and he uses his own life lessons as an example to others. Nick is not afraid to discuss his faults and failing, and this has shaped him into a man with incredible confidence and conviction, a man who is changing men’s fashion and a man who is positively influencing young professionals everywhere.

Like many of you, I am a fan of this guy and feel incredibly blessed to have him in my life. Nick is an example to the entire fashion industry that being humble, kind and considerate is really the coolest kind of cool

Love you Nick
